Review: Fashion Jungle - Kathy Ireland and Rachel Van Dyken - January 2020 Danica, Everlee, Zoe, and Brittany were the best of friends, the four of them first met when they were fourteen years old and moved to New York all with dreams of becoming somebody in the fashion world. The girls lived together in a cramped apartment, the ones who didn't make it was sent home but the ones who had the strength persevered. As the girls got older, they got wiser and found a new manager who loved them as if they were his own children. They still made time each week to catch up and all was going well until the girls discovered their friend Danica dead and hiding secrets. He could destroy ...

Review: Cowboy Villain Damsel Duel - Ginger Scott - January 2020 With this book, I wasn't sure what to expect but with the tagline, Riverdale meets Inception and the title sounding like clique identities and the number #1 fact that it was written by Ginger Scott, I knew it would be a book that I would read as soon as I could. Review: King of Shadows - Amelia Wilde - January 2020 I wasn't sure what to expect with King of Shadows and it took a different twist than I had assumed as I was drawn to this book from the blurb as it was a modern dark romance take on the story of Hades and Persephone. I love my Greek mythology as well as modern renditions of legends etc. King of Shadows starts with us meeting Persephone and her mother Demeter. Demeter practically has Persephone under lock and key which makes Persephone want to escape that one step closer. Over the past months, having a fence separate them Persephone and Decker have been making plans to escape to New York as Persephone wants to visit the New York Public Library and see the Lions. This made me smile as it brought back memories of when I went to New York and one of the things I was looking most forward to was also visiting the New York Public Library. ( Nerdy right, but then again I'm a bookaholic.) Their plan though is cut short when they are ...
